Many of our clients bring plans to us after finding out their plans exceed their budget. NHBB can work with you to find a builder with the right skill-set who can build your design within your budget. Often we are able to better previous builder’s quotes by as much as 20%. Our process gives you back control of your build.

How much can you save me?

This depends on your personal situation and the product you choose. But as a rule, it's a minimum of 5% up to 20%.

We review all builders to ensure they meet NHBB’s criteria and are capable of building the development and delivering on all outcomes set out in the brief. With over 100 builders, NHBB can find a builder who is the right fit for you and your project, who together with NHBB will guide you through the process from start to finish.

More choice means more competition, which ultimately means more competitively priced building quotes. Certain builders and designers can bring unique skillsets and valuable experience to specialised builds like narrow or sloping lot builds. It’s how we manage to get the right fit for each of our clients.

How does a Building Broker get paid?

We are paid by way of commission attached to the house, which would normally be paid to the sales representative or staff at the building company. This is very much the same as a mortgage broker.

Do you declare what commission you are getting paid from a builder?

Yes, In fact we will show you our invoice to the builder. We recommend you ask the same to any building company. They are obligated by law to declare any commission.

What commission do you charge?

Less than any project builder or sales rep, again we are happy to show you what the builder pays us. Not sure any Perth Builders do that!

Can we choose different suppliers to the builder and select or supply our own items?
