A few things to consider are: difficult sites and big blocks with lots of trees that can increase and change the costs dramatically.
The next step is that you need to make sure you understand each and every individual inclusion and exclusions in the quotes and make notes of the GST on individual items.
Some items you may see on a quote and have to consider in the demolition are:
- Part separation if homes are joined
- Removal of old bores, septics and soak wells
- Removal of old fencing
- Temp fencing for neighbours & pets
- Pool removal concrete and fibreglass are different prices
- Asbestos in the home or walls and sheds
- Shire bonds
- Tree root systems particularly near boundary’s and services
