Custom Two Storey - Doubleview

After deciding to build on our newly purchased block in Doubleview, it wasn’t long before we hit trouble with a Perth project builder. We certainly felt the builder had change direction from what the sales person said before we signed, and to what happened after we paid our deposit.

The price of the home just kept going up and the attitude of the builder was disgraceful to say the least, it seemed when we were talking about what we wanted he appeared not to understand and said this was possible, but it was almost that as soon as we paid our deposit for the plans, we were constantly being said no to, no we don’t do flat roofs and no you have to have a landing in your stairway. After finally saying they couldn’t build a flat roof double story home, the problems just kept coming after this. As you can imagine we walked away from the builder and lost our deposit.

At a friend’s BBQ, we learned about building brokers, and they referred us to New Home Building Brokers. We quickly arranged a meeting to share the stressful situation regarding our home. Right from the first meeting we felt that we were back in control, NHBB had so many Perth builders to choose from and not only did we get the home we wanted we saved thousands of dollars? We had the design done independently away from NHBB and also had consultation with the City of Stirling to make sure it complied. We also had many fixtures we wanted to supply, and again it wasn’t an issue with any of the builders. After choosing the builder and agreeing to a price the project moved forward and we could not be happier.

Absolutely no doubt from our side NHBB saved us from a nightmare situation that we seemed to get in so quickly. We recommend NHBB to anyone and particularly when building one off double story home.
